Terms of Use

Effective July 23, 2026. MovePact is operated by Renovatio, LLC ("we", "us").

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using MovePact, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MovePact.

2. Who can use MovePact

You must be 18 or older. MovePact pairs strangers for private voice notes, and it is built for adults only. By creating an account you confirm your age truthfully.

3. What MovePact is

MovePact lets you book a time, activity, duration and distance, then pairs you with a compatible person for that slot. You connect during the session with private voice notes and rounded progress toward each person's own goal. Sessions are a mutual commitment: confirming a session is a promise to another real person.

4. Conduct in voice notes

While using MovePact, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, insult or demean the person you are paired with;
• use hate speech of any kind;
• make sexual remarks or advances;
• ask for or share contact details, payment, or personal information of any person under pressure;
• save, extract or redistribute your partner's voice notes;
• impersonate another person, misrepresent your age, or hold yourself out as MovePact staff;
• use MovePact for advertising, solicitation, or any commercial purpose;
• attempt to defeat the matching, safety, or privacy mechanisms.

Block, report and leave controls are available during a session. Blocking someone removes them from your matching pool permanently.

5. Voice notes

Session audio consists of voice notes you choose to record and send. We store notes only to deliver them and delete them within 24 hours of the session ending; a note that is part of a report is kept while the report is reviewed. Saving, screen-recording or redistributing your partner's notes without their consent violates these terms and may be illegal where you live.

6. You are moving through the real world

MovePact is used while walking or running outdoors or on a treadmill. You are solely responsible for your own safety: watch for traffic, obey signals, stay aware of your surroundings, and choose routes and times that are safe for you. Using an app while moving carries inherent risk, and you accept that risk when you use MovePact.

7. Not medical advice

MovePact provides companionship and scheduling for exercise. Nothing in the app is professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult your physician before starting an exercise program, and stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, faintness or shortness of breath.

8. Not an emergency service

MovePact is not a safety device and cannot call for help. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.

9. Your account

Keep access to your sign-in email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Your handle must not be offensive or impersonate anyone. We may reclaim handles that violate these terms.

10. Enforcement

We may warn, restrict matching for, suspend, or delete accounts that violate these terms, and we may remove an account from the matching pool while a report is reviewed. Where behavior may put people in danger, we act first and review second.

11. Free use and MovePact Plus

MovePact is free to use. During our launch period, which runs until December 12, 2026, there is no session limit at all. After that date the free tier is limited to two sessions in any seven day period, counted as a rolling window rather than a fixed calendar week. Every feature is included in the free tier: matching, voice notes, friends, and the privacy protections described in our Privacy Policy. Nothing about your data is treated differently because you do or do not pay.

MovePact Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It removes that session limit. It is offered as a monthly plan and an annual plan, and the exact price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm.

Free trial. The annual plan may include a seven day free trial for people who have not subscribed to MovePact before. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid annual subscription at the price shown when you signed up. Starting a monthly plan first can make you ineligible for the trial, and Apple decides that eligibility, not us.

Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before that period ends. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you already paid for, and you keep MovePact Plus until that period runs out. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings. We cannot cancel a subscription for you.

Payment and refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We never see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, so refund requests go to Apple rather than to us, and we cannot issue one directly. If something has gone wrong, write to us anyway at hello@getmovepact.com and we will help where we can.

Price changes and deletion. If a price changes, the new price applies only from your next renewal, and Apple will notify you and ask for your consent where their rules require it. Deleting your MovePact account does not cancel your subscription: cancel in your Apple Account settings first, or Apple will keep billing you.

12. Intellectual property

MovePact, its design and its software belong to Renovatio, LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You keep the rights in your voice notes; you grant us only the limited license needed to deliver them to your partner and to review them if reported.

13. Disclaimers

MovePact is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that a partner will be found for every slot, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any person you are paired with will behave as these terms require, though violations have consequences under section 10.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Renovatio, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage arising from exercise, from moving through the world while using the app, or from the conduct of other users. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico.

16. Changes

If these terms change materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use MovePact after that means you accept the updated terms.
