Why is MovePact 18 and over?

Sessions pair you with a stranger and you talk in private voice notes. That is a wonderful thing between adults and the wrong thing to offer minors. You give your birth year when you create an account, and our server checks it rather than taking the app's word for it. We will not pretend that stops a determined teenager from typing a different year, which is why the next question matters.

You think someone on MovePact is under 18

Tell us and we will act on it. Email hello@getmovepact.com with the person's handle and, if you have it, the date and time of the session you shared. You can also use Report inside the session itself, which is faster and does not require you to remember any details. Reports about an account we believe belongs to a minor are handled as a priority and end with the account being removed, not warned.

Can my partner see where I am?

No. Nobody can, including us. Your location never leaves your phone; your partner sees only your rounded progress toward your own goal, your handle, and a generated avatar. No map, no routes, no city.

What happens if my partner stops or disappears?

Your session can keep going and still count, whether your partner quits or simply loses signal. An explicit quit has a 90-second undo window, so an accidental tap does not immediately end their side. A bad connection never punishes you.

How do I report someone?

During any session, block, report and leave controls stay close by. Blocking is mutual for matching: you will never be paired with that person again. Reports are reviewed, and repeated reports can remove an account from matching.
